The 89 Initiative has established several chapters across Europe. These act as regional policy and project hubs, permitting 89ers to shape European policy agendas through innovative local perspectives. Through its establishment of chapters, the 89 Initiative seeks to become the first pan-European think-do tank.
Moreover, chapters play an important role in reaching out to local stakeholders and tapping into local policy debates. The chapters aim to energise and empower more ‘89er’ generation of citizens to become active in, and powerfully shape, ongoing public debates across Europe.
Our London headquarters is based at the London School of Economics European Institute.
Our Maastricht chapter mainly acts as a bridge between the Initiative and universities in Europe, translating the experiences of young citizens of Maastricht and the Netherlands into policies and projects.
