In this episode, we sit with Matteo Bergamini, founder and CEO of Shout Out UK, to discuss the lack of media and political literacy programs in UK schools, as well as the role of the new All-Party Parliamentary Groups in improving school curricula.
Shout Out UK is a social enterprise tackling the lack of media and political literacy in British schools. Shout Out offers workshops and a publishing platform for young people, and it has organised a events such as the renowned 2015 Youth Leaders Debate. In recent years, Matteo was also named as one of Forbes’ 30 under 30 leaders on civic education.
