The 89 Initiative has recently launched five new research programmes. These replace the old Regenerate EU programme which had run for three years.
The research programme topics are designed to be cutting-edge, with each focusing on an aspect of policy occupying a new frontier in EU policy debates. The topics are designed to feed not only into EU-level, but national, and local level debates as well.
The programmes involve leading academics and policy makers in debate whilst engaging 89ers with aim of producing innovative policy recommendations to inform ongoing policy debates.
The recommendations are enshrined within an annual set of publications, published and presented at a major event in Brussels at the end of cycle.
