Following the French elections, we brought together 89ers and expert guest Alberto Alemanno to discuss the outcome, the challenges ahead for Macron, and the how the formerly dominant parties, the Parti Socialiste and Les Républicains, might recover.

Alberto Alemanno is Jean Monet professor of EU law at HEC Paris, and a co-founder of The Good Lobby. Marie-Victoire Cobuccio is an LSE alumna and long-time member of the Initiative. Salvatore Berger is a Policy Officer in the Initiative. Moderated by Michael Cottakis, President of the 1989 Generation Initiative.
